These terms apply to all orders and services provided by APE 3D. By requesting a quote or placing an order, you agree to these terms.
1. Orders and Quotes
- Quotes are valid for 7 days unless stated otherwise
- Quotes do not constitute an accepted order
- An order is only confirmed once we've provided a final quote and received your payment
- We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion
2. Design Files and Intellectual Property
- You own all rights to designs you supply to us
- We may not reproduce, share, or use your designs for any purpose other than producing your order
- You guarantee that any designs you provide don't infringe on third-party intellectual property rights
- We're not responsible for any IP issues arising from designs you provide
3. Revisions and Changes
- Free revisions are available before printing begins
- Once printing has started, changes cannot be made to that order
- If you request changes after printing has begun, a new quote will be provided for a revised print
4. Turnaround Time
- Quoted turnaround times are estimates only
- We aim to meet deadlines but don't guarantee them
- Delays may occur due to material issues, equipment maintenance, or other unforeseen circumstances
- We'll notify you promptly if delays are expected
5. Payment
- A deposit of 50% is required to confirm your order
- The remaining balance is due before pickup or dispatch
- We accept payment via bank transfer and card
- Unpaid orders may be cancelled after 7 days
6. Cancellations
- Cancellations requested before printing begins: 50% deposit is non-refundable, remaining balance is refunded
- Cancellations after printing has begun: full payment is due, and you're charged the agreed order price
- Cancelled prints may be disposed of at our discretion
7. Print Quality and Specifications
- 3D prints are made to the specifications of the design file you provide
- Prints may have minor layer lines, small imperfections, or colour variation due to the nature of the process
- We'll discuss any quality concerns within 7 days of delivery/pickup
- Prints that meet the original specifications are considered acceptable
8. Liability and Warranty
- We use industry-standard printers and quality control processes
- We're not liable for prints that fail or don't meet expectations due to:
- Issues with the design file you provided
- Unrealistic specifications or tolerances
- Material limitations
- Post-printing handling or storage by you
- Reprints due to our error are made at our discretion, with material costs charged
9. Delivery and Pickup
- Pickup is available at our Illawarra location by appointment
- We can arrange courier delivery at additional cost—damage in transit is not our responsibility
- Prints must be collected within 30 days of completion; storage charges may apply after this
- Risk of loss or damage transfers to you upon pickup or dispatch
10. Material and Safety
- Some materials may have safety considerations (sharp edges, chemical odours)
- You're responsible for safe handling and use of your prints
- We provide basic post-processing; additional finishing is available at additional cost
11. Confidentiality
- We don't share details of your orders or designs with third parties
- Order information may be used for business improvement or case studies only with your permission
12. Privacy
- Your personal information is used only to process your order and communicate with you
- We won't share your data with third parties
13. Limitation of Liability
- Our liability is limited to the value of your order
- We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses
14. Changes to Terms
- We may update these terms at any time
- Continued use of our services implies acceptance of updated terms
15. Disputes
- If you have a dispute, contact us at info@ape3d.com.au
- We'll work with you to resolve the issue within 14 days
- If unresolved, disputes may be subject to Australian Consumer Law protections
Consumer Guarantees
Australian Consumer Law provides guarantees that can't be excluded. Our services come with guarantees that they are:
- Provided with due care and skill
- Fit for a purpose we've explicitly agreed to
- Completed within a reasonable time
